About Me

Hi, I’m Laya! I arrived in Las Vegas a year ago and quickly realized that adapting here would be more challenging than in any other region I’ve lived in (and I’ve lived everywhere from the frigid hills of Vermont to the allergy hubs of Kentucky).

Now, as a recent college graduate navigating some new chronic conditions, I’ve been exploring social scenes around Las Vegas in search of community and connection.

If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I love learning and understanding new experiences. I connect easily with people from all walks of life — from age 22 to 72 — because I truly believe we never stop learning. For a short list of my interests, see below.

You don't have to share my interests to be part of this group. The point isn't to find people exactly like me; it's to create space where different people with different interests can exist without the usual barriers.
